This plugin will let you see a list of links in a category, starting with the letter / number that is selected via the "AlphaBar". Simple to use, with just a couple of minor template changes to your category.html template. Once you have selected a "letter" (or number) from the bar, you can see it goes "red" (so they know what page they are on, as if its needed). A span bar feature is also included now.

For example, a DVD review site - where you have information such as Director, Actors, Year made - etc. If one of these fields is missing some data, then someone can suggest an update to it - and then once validated (or rejected) from the admin panel, it will be made available on the listing.

This plugin is a great tool to add to your site. Based on search queries people make on your site, it recommends alternative suggestions. For example, if someone types in "computr" or "compuor", it would recommend "computer". Its amazing how many people make typos - and then wonder why they don't get any results to their query. It only requires a few lines of code to be added in to your templates, and can be used in both search.html, as well as search_results.html.

This plugin gives you users a simple to use "Calendar" system. They can add their own dates, as well as modify them. It has a nice and clear "list" form for showing you the things that have been added for any given day. They can even view a 7 day "span" (i.e the current day, and the next 6 days), the entire month - and even a whole year (with mini-calendars)

You can also view a full list (i.e just a list of dates, with their descriptions) - so they can see every single entry (and subject) they have added. simply clicking on the date.
This version also boasts the option of being able to change the time format (i.e 12 hour or 24 hour), and  the ability to turn on/off the "reminders" that are show on the calendar front page, as well as any other pages you put the code for showing them on =)

It also now has a calendar_public.cgi script, which lets you show people "public" entries on this script (NB: it still requires people to login, but they can see "shared" entries, instead of only theirs)

This plugin lets your members view their listings (split into "active" and "expired"), and if they wish - they can click a link to delete any of their links from your site. This is really aimed at Classified type sites (i.e the product has been sold, etc)

This plugin lets your users setup a "to-do" list of tasks they need to do. It works with both adding a "to-do" entry for a specific link - and also just general tasks. It also lets them edit and delete these listings from their user interface. This new version also sends out emails to alert the user one of their "ToDo" entries is occurring on the current day. Version 1.3 also has a built in "date selector" , which gives you users a nice and simple way to select the date they want to add (via a DHTML calendar window). For those of you who are more daring / ambitious, you can even set up "conditions" for Category and Link types. For example, if I wanted to extract the links from Category ID 1234, I would enter Page_Condition => 1234 - and this would then extract the links, and show them in the custom template for you.

You can even do more advanced stuff with the Advanced_Condition field. For example:

..would get links that have "test" in their title, and are set as isNew => Yes.

This plugin records the activity's of a user, in terms of which links they last accessed, and which ones they then went onto access. This is a great tool, as generally people goto links that are related - so you can provide a nice simple interface, for them to click on related links. It works based on how many occurrences the relation has had (i.e if there are 3 occurrences of someone going from linkID 123 to linkID 234, then that would show up higher on the list)

It works in a similar way to Amazon's "people who clicked this link, also visited..." section.

This plugin lets you link to a .cgi script (or /profiles/USERNAME), so people can view the LinkOwners "profile". On this page, you can display any of the information from your glinks_Users table. For example, <%Username%>, <%Status%>, and also <%Number_of_Links%> (ie how many links this users owns, that are "active"). It also gives you the option of showing these links (limited to 100, to save on resources, if the user has a lot of links =)), and link to them. I would imagine this being of quite a bit of use on Classifieds sites (i.e "show other products by this user", or anyone who just wants to show the links someone has submitted, and link to them.

This plugin lets even the most novice GLinks user, setup cool functions on their "sidebars". You can choose which side they show up on (left or right). Although this is designed to work with the "luna" template set, out of the box - it will still work fine in custom template sets too. It has many "widgets", including: SearchBox, Menu, AdSense, SiteStats, NewLinks, LoginBox, TopLevelCategories, TagCloud, TopSearchWords, LatestReviews - and more will be added over time.

This is mainly for "adult" based sites, where you have loads of galleries in your database, which tend to go "sour" and out-of-date after a little while. So with this plugin, you can email the link owner - and then all they have to do, is click a link in the email to go to modify.cgi, and update their listing (even if they don't make any changes!), and then this will keep the link active for another xx days. If they fail to update the link after another xx days, it will set it to isValidated => No, so the admin can manually check it (to see if its still live etc)
