This plugin is designed for Gossamer Forum 1.2.3+. In short, it lets your users organize their PM's (Private Messages) via a folder system (similar to how most email programs work). Not only does it give you this ... but you can also search by username/message body/specific folder, and even search your sent PM's!
ProfileImages
This plugin will let you're members upload images into their profile, and automatically have them thumbnailed. GREAT for making a "personal image gallery", or anything that you want to shown pre-thumbnailed images for. Includes easy to use template tags, which grab the URL of the image (small, or full).
UsersKarma
This plugin will let your visitors "rate" how useful someone has been. Simple tag calls can be used to show overall rankings, as well as short reviews.
RemoveUnusedAccounts
This plugin will let you automatically "remove2 users who have signed up, but never posted (or, those who have signed up, and even made posts.. but have been inactive for xx amount of time). These options are fully configurible, so you can choose what you want to delete (comes with the "test" mode enabled, so no users are removed until you are happy with the results).
ArchivePage
This plugin will let you do 2 things: 1) Make a static version of your forums/categories/posts, with SEO URL's being used. 2) Do the same as '1', but run it dynamically via a .cgi script. This makes it easier for search engines to find the relevant pages on your forum!
PMCaptcha
This plugin lets you show a security image for anyone sending a private message. This is aimed at stopping people from abusing the system. Each time the page is loaded, a random string is generated - and shown in an image. If they get the string of characters wrong, it won't let them send the private message until they do sort it.
Guestbook
This plugin gives you users the ability to have their *own* guestbook page. With advanced features, such as markup [optional], smilies, ability to ban users from posting on their Guestbook, logging of postings (for admin's eyes only), the ability for admins to "validate" new submissions [optional], a CAPTCHA system for the add pages [optional], many admin features (such as log viewing, validate new posts)... and more. You can even display the xx most recent entries from their guestbook, on their profile page. Users can also preview their guestbook entry, before posting. AdSenseShareForum
This plugin lets you "share" you ad-space on your Gossamer Forum installation. Simply fill out a few plugin settings - place a bit of code in post_view_flat.html, and voila =) This lets your users earn from the prosperity of your site (i.e the more "useful" posts they make, the more traffic you get - and the more they in turn will earn, as their posts will get viewed more)
ReportAUser
This plugin lets your users report anyone who's "trolling", abusing other members, or just being a general nuisance on your forum. You can then go in your admin panel, to a "view reports" page, where you can see all users who have been reported. Once you have dealt with this users (or decided its not worthy of an action, you can set the report to "been processed", and it will go from your report list then.
This is a great way to keep only "good" users on your forum - without people who are just out to cause trouble.
SendAWink
This plugin helps get people "chatting" to each other on social forums. Similar to the way you can "wink" people on facebook/Bebo/other social networking sites. You can view winks from a central page (requires you to be logged in, obviously). You can also select how people are notified of their new "wink" (via email, pm - or both)
